The cutscene where Shadow is first introduced was always really cool. The part where he's tossing the emerald in his hand casually, being all arrogant... I don't know. It always struck me as something really iconic. I wanted to draw it, the way I pictured it if SA2 had CG cutscenes. Or something.

I ended up with probably the darkest colour choice I've used yet. It's kind of an optical illusion, really; his eyes appear white due to the contrast, but in reality, they're still a dark gray.

Anyway, I'm happy with how this turned out. I used my original, grainy-as-hell sketch for the lines, which I think kind of wasn't a good idea, but it doesn't look too bad so whatever.
